Important Update: Medicaid Reimbursement Changes for Influenza Vaccines
We want to inform you that Medicaid reimbursement rates for most influenza vaccines have decreased this season. As a result, it’s crucial that you carefully evaluate all vaccines you are administering. If you find that these changes impact your ability to provide vaccine services to Medicaid patients, please inform us immediately so we can explore alternative solutions.
To better assist you during this time, APA has added two new resources to the members only area of the new APA website: A Guide for Billing Adult Immunizations in Medicaid and Medicaid Reimbursement Rates. Special thanks to Immunize Arkansas for updating these two resources.
Your attention to this matter is appreciated, as it’s essential to continue delivering high-quality care to all our patients. Should you have any questions or require further clarification, don’t hesitate to reach out.
